A supercharger is a unit that compresses air and forces it into the engine at a rate faster than normal. By forcing air into the engine, it increases mass in
the combustion chamber, thus creating more power. The supercharger is
powered directly by a belt from the engine's crankshaft. As engine's rpm increase,
so does the supercharger. This creates a very linear power band. |
