RACING METER SD
  1. Precisely manufactured stepping motor is employed to achieve a smooth and
    accurate needle movement. Also employs opening/ending action.
  2. BLITZ traditional aluminum bezel is used for racing look.
  3. 7 kinds of meter, 2 sizes: 52mm and 60mm available.
  4. Equipped with back light dimmer for better visibility and safety for night driving.
  5. Warning LED flashes when measured value exceeds the set value.
  6. Peak hold function allows the driver to review the maximum value afterwards.
  7. Remote wired control switch is included. (Same function as the button on the
    back of the meter)
  8. Meter holder and meter visor is included.
  9. When the sensor or wiring short circuit/ damage is detected, the needle flashes
    to alert the driver of a malfunction.
  10. Separate control unit unique to the electric meter is not required.
  11. 11. Only one 12V power supply is needed. Whenever the meter is added, simply
    plug the power line to the previous meter. Easy installation!

Hi Performance

Internal mechanism employs new, highly precise stepping motor
drive. Accurate value reading, smooth needle movement, and
opening/ending action is featured. High intensity white LED is
employed for the outstanding visibility during the daytime driving.

Backlight dimmer is employed to dim the back light when the
illumination power is supplied at night. All meters employ warning
function, peak hold function, and alarm function when the wiring or
sensor malfunction is detected.
　
Reasonable Price

All SD meters include a Meter holder and a meter visor in the kit,
which is often sold separately. Also, SD meters do not require the
central control unit which many other electric meters require

Meters can be quickly installed by purchasing the meter unit only.
Reasonable price is achieved as the kit does not require separate
equipment, but also includes many accessories.
　
Lineup

Not only “BOOST” “TEMP” “PRESS” which are common in analogue
meters, but also “VOLT” “TACHO” “EX. TEMP” “VACUUM” are
offered to monitor various status of the car.

Each gauge is offered in 2 sizes, 60mm and 52mm to suit customer’s
preference and mounting surface/vehicle condition. The customer can
choose from 14 kinds of the meters for the best combination.

●BOOST METER
This is the intake manifold pressure gauge for forced induction engine. The gauge displays the value from the vacuum up to positive pressure, up to 2kgs/cm2. Positive pressure value is useful to check the maximum boost pressure by using peak-hold function. It is also useful when adjusting the boost pressure when used in combination with boost controller.

●VACUUM METER
This is the intake manifold pressure gauge for normally aspirated engines. The movement of the needle responds to the throttle opening and engine loading very linearly, so that it shows how much the driver is opening the throttle valve.

●TEMPERATURE METER
This meter displays the engine oil temperature or coolant temperature, depending on sensor location. The temperature can exceed the limit when racing in the race course or in the traffic jam. This meter helps the driver to check the temperature before the engine is seriously damaged due to overheating.

●PRESSURE METER
This meter displays engine oil pressure or fuel pressure, depending on sensor location. Loss of engine oil pressure cause the engine failure, therefore, to know the proper oil pressure is important to detect the problem. Also, this meter is useful when checking for fuel pressure for fuel system problem, or checking the fuel pump flow capacity.

●EXHAUST TEMPERATURE METER
This meter displays exhaust gas temperature by installing the sensor to exhaust manifold or turbine housing outlet. Exhaust gas temperature of the turbo charged engine tends to be high, so it is important to detect abnormal combustion by monitoring the exhaust gas and air/fuel ratio balance. Also, this meter is useful when calibrating the engine computer setting.

●TACHOMETER
This meter displays the engine speed, that is, Revolutions per a minute. (RPM) This meter is useful to prevent over-revving the engine while racing, and also to know the shift timing for semi-auto MT or sports-mode AT. Warning function is useful to prevent the damage to the engine, while this function is usually not offered with factory stock meter.

●VOLTAGE METER
This meter displays the battery voltage. Usually, the battery voltage should be somewhere between 13 to 14 Volts. However, malfunction with alternator causes the low voltage, which eventually resulting battery failure.
Also, voltage drops when there is high loading (electricity demanding) equipment is used. This meter enables to avoid the trouble by informing the electric system status to the driver.
